One Last Rant

Holy Gamoly! Yeah that's how shocked I am when I saw when my last post was. Gah, haven't been keeping up with my promise then. Sorry.

After thinking and more thinking until my head hurts, I have decided blogging might not be suitable for me then. I'm so envious of other people who has tons of stuff to talk about. From fashion, makeup, food, travelling, manga, artist, how-to's to just random stuff about their life. Besides, I'm too self-conscious to reveal stuff I do in everyday life. Too normal & boring if you ask me. More reasons? Well,

1) I'm more of a follower who loves to look up random stuff on the net & read other people's blog.

2) Even my horoscope told me I'm bad at keeping up at something & that I get bored easily where I tend to not finish something I started. Egh....that's really bad when I think about it...

3) In my opinion, web blog such as these are for those resilient bloggers who are passionate & enjoy about what they are writing or posting. I envy you people so much!


4) To chat up random stuff or rant about stuff i think about, for me those are personal thoughts & I like to  keep them to myself. I might hurt other people's feelings or even offend them badly. I don't wanna deal with that. No thanks.

5) If I want to start a blog to help people like giving advice, tips, how tos, I think to myself, "Damn girl, you can't even set your life straight & still look up to others for help or opinions. And you want to give advise? Pffft. Please". Ahem. So I don't think I'm worthy enough to tell people what to do unless they ask as a personal opinion though.


6) I may switch to tumble because it's easier to post stuff (pics, video, etc.). Maybe. But I'm currently active in Pinterest (aside from when the internet at home being an ass). I love to post random pics, quotes or other stuff that interest me so I'm moving on to Pinterest! So I'll only be using blogspot to follow other people's blog. 7) Damn, who am I kidding? I'm just plain lazy.

So all the best to all bloggers out there as I might pay you a random visit because when I'm searching for something online, I tend to get distracted and got sidetracked easily. Who knows I might end up at your blog & loving it! Yeah!

How long has it been?

So, inspired by a friend to start blogging again, I finally got my lazy ass to write something here. It been waaaaay long I've abandoned my blog. Oh, I finally learned a bit to customize my blog so here it is with all it's purple galore! (Gosh, I'm such a noob)

So now I've been thinking for a while now on what my blog should mainly be. Since I love to read (although I haven't the time to do so anymore nowadays =S) why not post blogs about books I've read? Yeah I know, sounds so nerdy & geeky to talk about books. But maybe I'll splash in some arts, fanarts & literary stuff (maybe some Japanese manga too?) that I managed to stumble upon. To top it off, maybe some random stuff taken here and there. Yeah sounds about right. Hope this goes well~

So to start things off, I stumbled across this blog by Emily Carroll. She does fanarts, freelance illustrations & some short comics online. & I absolutely fell in love with her arts & dark (& sometimes creepy) story-telling! We usually read happy ending story tales with a nice endings & or predictable outcomes. So hers is kinda mind boggling & makes you wonder and ponder about the ending of her stories. Sometimes you need that splash of dark tales to color your life, & I find these stuff enjoyable in appropriate dosage. I especially love her work of His Face All Red. The ending kinda spooks me but yet I'm drawn to how she tells the story (It really absorb me in!). Great artwork too as it goes really well with the stories. These are some of her artworks:

I've realized that her works mainly themed with zombies, gory monsters and fanarts of videogame charatcers but sometimes her works has themes of nice simple life such as below:

So I definitely have become Miss Emily's fan the minute I saw her artworks. Really interesting & unique! Love to see more of her works soon!

Newbie Blogger

Hey Everyone! Since I have so much free time right now & constantly browsing the net with my computer, why not try to blog while I'm at it right? So here I am writing for the very first time. Yay~

Where to start?

I'm literally a newbie in this stuff so I looked up online to see which site is the easiest for a starter like me & I ended up with two most used blog sites which are blogger.com & blog.com. So which one to choose? I've never blogged before nor I am an avid follower of anyone's blog so I decided to create an account for both sites. Blogger.com seems very user friendly & has this step-to-step tutorial which is easy to understand for beginners like me. On the other hand, blog.com seems more appealing with its variety of widgets & buttons for editing stuff (creating or editing profile & blogs etc.). But after about 15 minutes trying & exploring, they made me feel as if everything was thrown at my face all at once & made me quite overwhelmed by just staring at them. After some hassle & trying clicking tabs that somehow made me more confused on blog.com, I decided to use blogger.com. Hope everything goes well from here!

What to talk & write about?

I don't want to be a whiny & emo blogger who likes to tell the whole world his/her problem as if other people don't have their own. So maybe I'll talk about issues & topics that can relate to the readers? (do I hear a snicker in the background? too cliche?) Anyways, maybe I'll end up posting just random stuff in my blog. So for now let's just say I'm starting a common Personal Blog that contains random stuff of what I'm thinking & ever done. 

Ooopss...I think I'm talking nonsense & ranting mindlessly by now. I hope I don't bore people who are reading my blog (if there are any) with my long-dragged chatter & my maybe nonsense posts-to-come which I apologize for both in advance.
